ArtStream West Plains Middle School ArtStream in Action

The ArtStream Project in Action
West Plains Middle School students working on this multimedia project were from the 5th grade science class, the 8th grade Science Club, the Art Club and Computer Club (5th-8th grades) and the video production class (7th and 8th grade). The students created sculptures to be animated, and graphics to be used as backgrounds.
The video production class also recorded dialog and sound effects for the movie. In these photos they are working with Bill Oakley, sound engineer with the National Audio Theater Festival, to create a background effect.

The students used a variety of instruments for the sound effects, and recorded direct to digital audio software.

These Computer Club students are designing graphic backgrounds to be used in animations. Artist Mark Giles is at the Smartboard at the back; in front, computer teacher Pam Hessee.
