Letter
to the Editor
As an inhabitant of the Ozarks during the early 1900's you are having
difficulty feeding your family meat. The wild game population has dropped
dramatically as the Ozarks is being logged off and animal habitats are
being destroyed in the process. You have decided to voice your concerns
by writing a letter to the editor of the weekly paper in a neighboring
town.
In
this letter you describe your personal experience and hardships due
to the game shortages. You provide specific data to support your claims.
You advocate in your letter that timber and game should to be managed
in way that would allow all parties to benefit. You attempt to persuade
other readers to write government officials to advocate for conservation
laws.
