The US Core of Engineers is planning to construct a dam on the North Fork River in the early 1940s. You are an inhabitant of an upper tributary to the North Fork River who realizes the construction of this dam will have both positive economic impacts on the area as well as negative environmental impacts. Write a letter to the editor of the newspaper in a neighboring town advocating your support for or against the construction of this dam. Back up your position with at least three specific reasons.
