Student Writing Prompt

Weather
can oftentimes make or break a day's plans not only in the Ozarks but
anywhere. Your curiosity about weather led you to pursue training as
a meteorologist. As your career progressed, you really enjoyed the invitations
that you received to visit schools and teach the basics of weather to
children, so you decided to specialize in the development of educational
materials about weather for children. After you received training in
the principles of education, a children's publishing company hired you
to write a simple story about clouds and weather instruments.
All
of the scientific information about meteorology needs to be accurate
and clear, but the publisher will allow you to make up imaginary characters
to catch and keep the children's attention. You have been instructed
that each page can only have one concept and a corresponding picture.
The publisher requires a minimum of 5 pages and not more than 10.
